Fast food giants have caught on to the benefits of having a mobile presence, taking advantage of the opportunities as smartphone users are always looking for more ways to use their devices. Applications that allow consumers to place orders and pay from their smartphone are growing increasingly beneficial to both users as well as brands. Due to this technology, sales can extend beyond the four walls of a business, the opportunities are endless.

These apps are location aware and allow consumers the luxury of not having to enter the restaurant address, instead, the built in GPS system automatically connects with fast food restaurants closest to them.

Since your food is already paid for there is no need to stand in line, consumers just need to give the last four digits of their cell phone number and they’re on their way. “When customers start using the service, they increase their frequency of visits by 42 percent and the mobile offering takes existing loyal customers and increases their value by 75 percent” says Noah N. Glass CEO of Gomobo.

These apps can also save individual order history and serve as loyalty programs offering instant incentives such as coupons, encouraging repeat purchases while making fast food even faster!

Mobile presence applications act as sophisticated marketing channels that engage customers while forming ongoing relationships. While it’s true that consumers embrace quick solutions for daily tasks, they still like to know that they’re appreciated and more than just a transaction.
